Tai Chi


TAI CHI is a simple form of exercise performed as a series of Slow , Graceful, Controlled Body Movement remaining straight and uplift . It is based on the basic principle of nature like Balance, Harmony, Stability , Continuity and flow of life in different forms. It is also known as “ Medication and Meditation in Motion “
TAI CHI is both a Physical and Mental Exercise , incorporating the concept of  YIN  AND  YANG   or opposing and complementary forces within the body and Qi ( Chi) , the vital energy or life forces. The belief is that Chi follows pathways in the body called meridians, circulating this vital life force and it promotes wellness. When there is a blockages or stagnation of this energy it caused  physical or emotional stress or trauma . Hence some of the major Challenges  in the life of adults in this  modern era:
Fast lifestyle , competition, deadlines and targets, bad food habits ,  bad posture for long working hours in laptop,  lack of body awareness that causes stress, back pain spondylitis, sore eyes pain in wrists and fingers.
Challenges in life of elderly : old age is a period of gradual physical decline. one does begin to slow down physical leading to lethargy and lack of interest . mental disorder are very much associated with the old age , decline in mental ability increase dependency . social life is narrowed down by loss of work and weak health restrict them to participate in social activities.
Challenges for Kids : lack of concentration, lack of confidence  Exam stress , Low creativity and poor academic performance.

Here regular practice of Tai Chi builds strength, enhance muscle tone and improve balance, flexibility, coordination, and lower blood pressure. Tai  chi brings tranquillity, distress mind and help to think more clearly.
